My experience working on social and affordable housing projects in the Downtown Eastside proved influential during my graduate studies, where my thesis took an investigative and explorative approach—not to solve houselessness, but to critically acknowledge the situation's complexities and begin questioning the role of architecture and its inherent social responsibilities.
